Virginie Truchot was born in France and had been working in fashion for 9 years, but and always had a dream and a passion to express herself through sculpture. She started sculpture in a studio in London when she was living there and since then has been sculpting in Hong Kong, where she has been living for the past 8 years before her recent move to live in Tokyo.
Virginie has always been inspired by Africa, its magical and mysterious spirit and energy. |

Her sculptures evoke her love of the earth and dust and the feeling you have bronze there when you are walking in the African bush….the feeling and the excitement of the hunter and the animals being hunted.
